Texas- Sen Ted Cruz vows that he is no longer willing to accept any campaign contributions from any of the PAC (Political Action Committees)!
Sen. Ted Cruz urges his colleagues to contribute in the same regard. Corporations have consistently triggered the consecutive values and anticipate the Republicans to offer them political favors, as Cruz mentioned in the Wall Street Journal released on a Wednesday evening. Further, the Texas Republican added that there might be controversy sparked up online persuading them to run away.
Cruz also mentioned in the Op-ed that Republicans had been leveraged for long to attack the values without any response. They were granted access to ship jobs overseas, destroy the energy companies, and attack gun rights.
He further added his agony by stating that Democrats can take their call to require a regulatory change or the tax break. Cruz has no plans to take away the money by any means.
After taking hold of the office in 2013, Cruz merely accepted $2.6 Million through the Corporate PACs.
Starting today, I no longer accept money from any corporate PAC.— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) April 28, 2021
I urge my GOP colleagues to do the same.
For too long, Republicans have allowed the left & their big-business allies to attack our values & ship jobs overseas with no response.
Since taking office in 2013, Cruz has accepted $2.6 million from corporate PACs, he said!
He ranks as the latest elected officer of Republican to share a warning against “Woke” corporations and making an urge not to take any conversation for granted.
Reportedly, last week a team of 7 House Republicans took a pledge to avoid taking a contribution from any Giant Tech Companies such as Apple, Twitter, Amazon, and Google. They also censor the conservative voices in this line.
The Republican Campaign official also acclaimed in The Daily Caller News Foundation, “This is going to be a litmus test for conservatives.”
In March, Sen. Marco Rubio, R.Fla also got the reputation of highest-profile Republican to endorse various efforts at the Amazon Warehouse from Alabama. He also debated that Amazon and other business communities should not ask the Republican support for the routine attack conservative from the culture war.
For several decades, business tycoons like Amazon pushed allies to the left on this culture war. But as their bottom line faced a threat, then slowly turned into conservatives for saving themselves!
