One of the prominesssnt advisors of the government revealed the statement on Wednesday that the country can be faced the third wave of coronavirus, specifically if the virus continues to increase further. Moreover, the government official also warned that the vaccine of coronavirus would require some updates.

With the help of these updates, it will be capable of dealing with new strains that have surged contagion in the country. The K Vijay Raghavan, a principal of scientific Advisor to Center, said today that, “The phase three of this dangerous virus is inevitable, but it is specific time is not clear like the when the phase three will occur.

For the variant of coronavirus, he revealed that “Variants are transmitted as like original strain. It does not consist of the properties of a new type of transmission. Further, it first infects an individual so that it makes it more transmissible after its entry. After that, it makes more copies and spread on like the original one.

The growth of rate of coronavirus is estimated at 2.4% per day. The country witnessed the case of more than 3.82 lakh new infections per day. There are some states which face the continuous surge in the Covid-19 cases. These states include Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and so on. Moreover, Chennai also noticed 38,000 Covid-19 cases. 

In addition to that, some districts have witnessed the speed in rising cases such as Gurgram, Kozhikode, and so on. The government revealed twelve states like Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and so on, which have more than one lakh active cases. The government also revealed that there are 24 states and UTs which witness more than 15 percentile growth in the positive rate of coronavirus. The majority of quarters raise the demand for nationwide lockdown due to a surge in Covid-19 cases.
