A truck driver has been charged in Melbourne’s CBD after a B-double allegedly crashed a traffic light and injured five pedestrians. The name of the truck driver is Fran Rogers, who is 64 years old. He was arrested on a Thursday night and suffered serious injuries this evening with two counts of dangerous driving.

An allege of police is that the truck cut off the corner of the intersection and took out a traffic light. Further, it climbed onto the pavement. Five masses become the victim of this tragedy. The ages of all that masses lie between the 20s and 30s. In addition to it, they were injured when they were standing on the corner of the city road and Power Street in Southbank. The time of the accident was nearly 7 pm.

He said that he was going home to work when he witnessed the “giant truck” turned to the corner. It was just before when it mowed down to five individuals and traffic light too. In addition to that, he also said that “It was one of the loudest bangs I’ve ever heard.” This intersection turned into silence as if “someone pressed the pause on the whole scene.”

He also explained that “Everything went silent for about five to ten seconds.” “We did not know what to do, our brains were just trying to understand what happened and then we started hearing the screaming.”
